Known as “Hasbin,” John Crews was a respected racer, shop owner, and community icon. He signed his first pro contract at just 15 and went on to rank among the top 10 in ABA Pro standings. After years of racing success, he opened Bicycles Plus in 1989 and was inducted into the ABA BMX Hall of Fame in 2006. Crews also founded Ride for a Reason, a charity supporting Parkinson’s and cancer awareness — embodying the true spirit of a BMX Legend.
