Jeff Kosmala was one of the most dominant riders of early BMX, turning pro with Mongoose in 1977 and going on to define an era. His incredible 1980 season—winning 21 Nationals along with ABA No. 1, NBA No. 1, and the JAG World Championship—cemented his reputation as a powerhouse competitor. Known for his precision and racecraft, he also introduced the iconic Kos Kruiser BMX model and later rode for Redline Engineering. A pioneering athlete and crowd favorite, Jeff’s achievements solidify him as a true BMX legend.
